Trucker Salute
Celebrating our April, May, June 2024 Calendar Features
April
“People that know me, they know this is a working truck before it’s a show truck. It’s
only 18-months old and has over 300,000 miles on it. I run Shell Rotella® T5 because we run so many miles and I try
to get a little longer between oil changes. This is my first SuperRigs® show. I always heard it’s a good, family
kind of deal. As a kid, I remember always seeing the calendar and saying I wanted a truck in that calendar. So, it’s
a huge honor.” - Cody Davis, Cokeville, WY, 2022 Kenworth W900
May
“I’m a second-generation truck driver. I learned how to drive in the oil fields here in
Wyoming. When I was a kid, my dad used to come home with Shell Rotella® calendars. My first calendar was 1985. To be
on the calendar is a dream. It’s 41 years of history. To be in that class of people is very special. I about busted
out in tears, to be honest with you. And for Shell Rotella® having this for the drivers, I would like to offer
thanks from all of us.” - Richard Rukstalis, Morton, IL, 2018 Kenworth T680
June
“We’re here with Doc Holliday and Johnny Ringo. Throughout Doc Holliday is the theme from
the movie, Tombstone—Doc sayings, an airbrushed silhouette on the firewall, pistols at the ends of the pinstripes,
top hats. The 359 is a little more outlaw than a 379, which is why it’s Johnny Ringo. We’ve been coming to
SuperRigs® for 20 years and Doc is our first Best of Show. Having Johnny and Doc in the same shoot is like our Super
Bowl. We are extremely thrilled and overwhelmed.” -Truett, Crystal & Weston Novosad, Caldwell, TX Doc Holliday (Best
of Show), 2007 Peterbilt 379 & Johnny Ringo, 1984 Peterbilt 359
